The Association of Indonesian Music Promoters, or APMI, is an association comprised of music promoters in Indonesia that was founded with the intention of advancing the music performance ecosystem in the country, thereby enhancing the reputation, quality, and quantity of concerts and music festivals held in Indonesia.
On October 28, 2020, APMI was founded with the enthusiasm of youth. At that time, the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on event planning, particularly music events. Promoters require a forum to convey their aspirations to the government and all other stakeholders; thus, APMI was established. The Indonesian Music Promoter Association gives its members the opportunity to voice their aspirations.
